Refund policy
Returns
Sales of Pick-Up Bricks toy vacuums from this website (pickupbricks.com) are considered as Final Sales and will not be eligible for return or exchange unless damaged in shipment, defective, or returned (with prior authorization) within 14 days unused and in new condition with all the included parts and original packaging. Returns of purchases made through Amazon are handled by Amazon, though we are happy to help with troubleshooting any problems you may have with the product.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item. In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at customerservice@pickupbricks.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis and will try our best to make it right. After troubleshooting the issue, we may determine that an item should be returned so that we can examine and/or repair it.
Refunds
In the case of a defective, damaged or incorrect shipment, your original purchase amount will either be applied to the cost of a replacement or refunded on your original payment method. We can provide you with a postage-paid label to ship the item back to us in its original packaging. We will notify you once we receive and inspect your return, and let you know if the refund is approved or not. Reasons a refund would not be approved include if the item is returned with parts missing, if we determine that the damage was caused by misuse, or if the item is not received within 30 days of return authorization. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If you are returning an item for reasons other than defect or incorrect shipment, please contact us at customerservice@pickupbricks.com to request a return authorization. You have 14 days from delivery to submit a request. Items returned unused and in new condition with all the included parts in the original packaging will receive a refund of the price paid for the item. Returns must be received within 21 days of the return authorization date. Unfortunately, we can't refund the shipping fee, and if we provide you a prepaid shipping label for the return, that cost will be deducted from the refund amount. Refunds will be made to your original payment method.
Order Cancellations
Because we try to ship our items out as quickly as possible, there is not a lot of time to change or cancel orders before they are processed to the shipping carrier to zip them out to you. Once an order has been processed to the shipping carrier, it is no longer possible for us to cancel the shipment, which means we are charged for it. Additionally, to retrieve the item back to us requires a return shipment. Please be careful and check all the details when you place an order with us. If there is a mistake, we will do everything we can to correct it for you but please understand that if we are charged by the shipping carrier for making changes, we will have to pass those costs on to you.
Additionally, once you place an order and your credit card is charged, in most cases, there is a service charge for processing the transaction that we pay. When you cancel an order, even if you do so within seconds and the order hasn't been shipped yet, we are still charged about $3.00 even though you get your money refunded to you. We may deduct the transaction charge from your refund if the credit card processor insists on charging it to us.
